SELF ENERGY PROJECT

Person in Charge of the Project : Takuho Sakai3 million years since mankind gained external energy sources. Energy has become an important infrastructure. On the other hand, energy is getting familiar and we can easily generate energy with our own hands. We think acquiring our own energy will lead to the expansion of human activities. So we must design energy for upcoming future.

Project Gryphagy -Design insect mass production for eating-

Person in Charge of the Project : Hiroki OiIn the near future, an increase in the world population is said to cause food shortages. If we do not devise measures from now, not only food will be insufficient, we will put a big burden on the global environment as well. In this project, we focus on the possibilities of insects as a protein source, and we are actively working on design for mass production. As a subproject, we are also designing dishes aimed at accepting insect food in culture. Someday dreaming of the day the insects line up on the supermarket shelves.
