Use of personal information and personally identifiable information
- For administering, communicating, and carrying out procedures necessary for Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus Open Research Forum (hereafter referred to as “SFC-ORF”);
- For tallying SFC-ORF visitor information;
- For filming and taking photographs within the SFC-ORF venue for recording or PR;
- For creating public relations, press releases, and various forms of communication related to the SFC-ORF and other projects by SFC-ORF and the Keio Research Institute at SFC;
- For academic or research purposes by research organizations participating in SFC-ORF;
- Personal information obtained by the SFC-ORF Office will not be used for purposes other than for conducting operations necessary for holding the SFC-ORF, and projects and the like carried out by SFC-ORF and the Keio Research Institute at SFC.
Disclosure of personal information to third parties
- Personal information obtained by the SFC-ORF Office from visitors’ business cards, visitor lists, and the like, will not be disclosed to third parties unless given permission to do so by the individual, or if required to do so by law;
- Personal information contained in documents (including those created by intangible methods such as electronic and magnetic media) or other forms submitted to the SFC-ORF Office for the purpose of publication in exhibits, reports, presentations, and distributed items, will be disclosed through publication in the SFC-ORF program and other materials to be distributed;
- Presentations made at each SFC-ORF session may be filmed, recorded, and uploaded to the Internet;
Consignment of personal information to third parties
- A portion or all of the personal information obtained may be consigned, for purposes limited to the above terms of use to administrative and operations support contractors for the SFC-ORF and other projects carried out by SFC-ORF and the Keio Research Institute at SFC;
Request to disclose retained personal information, etc. (Notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use, removal, suspension of disclosure to third parties)
- A prompt response will be made to the following types of requests made by an individual regarding the retained personal information obtained and managed by the SFC-ORF Office: notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion, suspension of use, removal, and suspension of disclosure to third parties;
Management of personal and non-personal information by methods not easily recognizable by the user
- SFC-ORF website visitor information, such as browser type, IP address, host name, etc., may be collected for the purpose of data aggregation;
- Information transmitted from communication devices within the venue, such as terminal identification information and MAC addresses, may be collected;
- The MAC addresses and location information from communications devices brought to the SFC-ORF venue may be collected for the purpose of data aggregation;
Protection of personal information
- The necessary and appropriate measures, including prevention of leakage, loss, or damage of obtained personal information, will be taken for the secure management of the obtained personal information;
