Person in Charge of the Project : Miki Akiyama"Karadakan" was established in 2007 in Tsuruoka City in Yamagata Prefecture to support decision-making of community people in terms of health-relating issues. A wide range of information includes scientifically based guidelines, as well as a variety of patients' experiences and stories. Current collection includes over 1,400 books about cancer, various pamphlets, multimedia, and computers for online searching. We provide various lectures, pro-active study groups, survivor's meetings and peer support groups in the community.http://karadakan.jp/
