Person in Charge of the Project : Takafumi ImaiAugmented Reading Interface (ARI) is a character information interface in AR (augmented reality). With the diversification of interaction between people and information, means for acquiring information on mobile is sought. As a result of that demand, troubles such as walking smartphone are occurring. Therefore, attention is paid to AR as information acquisition means on mobile, and we propose interface = ARI which enables safe reading by mobile.

SmartSailing

Person in Charge of the Project : Mondo SaitoSmartSailing is an interaction system to support the sailing race and training. This system can show the real time wind information by using the wind gauge on the sea. And it can propose the training environment by using the real time wind information in a high efficiency and short time.

Proposal of utterance model in HAI -Practice of politeness theory-

Person in Charge of the Project : Yusuke MaikumaToday, the technology for chatbot and AI are improving and various interfaces in human society are about to be replaced by machines. However, in the current situation of HCI and HAI there are number of people who feel uncomfortable while having a conversation due to the content and utterance. For HAI to practice communicating more smoothly, current project is to apply "politeness theory" in it which is a famous research of verbal communication to agents.

Chicken Heart Maker

Person in Charge of the Project : Marina YamashitaChicken Heart Maker is a system that fuses stereophonic sound by binaural recording and EMS giving weak electrical stimulation to existing haunted house. You feel scared by feeling fear in the mixture of what you actually see and hear and the sound of the creation. It amplifies the fear sense more. By introducing this system and implementing haunted house, you get a new feeling as if you were touched by someone who does not exist and you will feel like you immersed in that world view.
