Our team has been acting in Hadano. Lots of good Yato (narrow valley) and rice terraces is remained. Rice terrace is very good environment to creatures lives in a swamp, a brook, and a pond. We are trying to keep and improve the environment to call in endangered species (not only insects, also mammals). Specimen of insects collected in Hadano will be displayed in our booth. As another project, we planned and tried environmental education with NPO, Tanzawa-Donkai. This our action is also to preserve environmental of rice terrace. We will show the result.

This project has proposed and implemented the environmental education program which uses butterflies and dragonflies at the elementary school in Kawasaki. The object of this project is to bring up the school child’s hearts which have respects for living things and interests to a natural environment.
