Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc. concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement in March 2018. We are collaborating on innovative businesses to solve important social problems and to develop human resources with background of both liberal arts and science. Two of us from the insurance company had been working on insurance sales until recently, but we suddenly became researchers at this laboratory. Even though we did not study science in universities, we are trying to implement new initiatives integrating science and our experience in insurance sales. In this event, we would like to introduce some of our recent efforts.
