The technological innovation and the progress of science brought about by the fourth industrial revolution have drastically changed the ways of our society. However, on the other side, our society faces numerous social problems such as global environmental problems, depopulation and aging society amongst others. Hereby, the questions are raised as: What is the fourth industrial revolution bringing to our society?; What will our future society be like?; How do the SDGs relate to the fourth industrial revolution?; How do the SDGs impact on the world trends after 2030? This session will examine the present and future social changes to be brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the era of SDGs.
