In these few decades food, energy and water has made significant changes due to the cities, population composition, land use, services, have changed as the part of the Design-led urban food, water and energy management innovation in new boundary conditions of change, this project will focus on the history of development in the suburbs of Tokyo and Yokohama, changes in land use, food production, consumption of energy, circulation of water. We will propose solutions to efficiently manage the Food-Energy-Water Nexus from the perspective of multiple stakeholders.
With individualization and diversification of the urban infrastructure and living, the social and natural environment is changing complexly. To make decisions narrowly adapting to the change, it is desirable to acquire, express and utilize detailed environmental data. We conduct experiments on the utilization of geospatial media such as tracking of animals with sensor technology, acquisition of agricultural land data with drone and real-time representation of land environment with 3D GIS.
