KEIO SFC Journal Vol.17 No.1 called for papers according to a special theme, “DesignX * XDesign”. This feature focusing on “Design X” which is a concept of design targeting complicated socio technical problems proposed by Donald A. Norman et al. It includes papers on the extension and update of design methods and theories, and shows that new design areas are emerging. In this session, the faculty members of the XD program will discuss the new issues of design research based on the papers dedicated to the feature.
