Pink Tourism

Person in Charge of the Project : Yuka TakeiWhat makes the trip enjoyable for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) people or any other people of sexual minority when they travel? This was the first question when I started this project. Since not many people in Japan are familiar with the term LGBT, they may not be ready to accept these people as guests. In my project, I will be making a tour booklet and a website so that the LGBT people can enjoy their trip in Japan.

Person in Charge of the Project : Hiroshi SasakiIn these days beach conservation is a hot topic because to keep the beaches clean humans need to do maintenance to beaches. Many garbage will be drifting from the sea and costal erosion may happen in some beaches. I focused on JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) beach conservation project in Bali Indonesia. I actually went there with reading their report and did a research about beach conservation.

Bitcoin, Problems and How to Overcome

Person in Charge of the Project : Jeon Chang JinMore and more people and company are getting interested to Bitcoin, the next generation form of currency. Compare it to the current currency, Bitcoin has a lot of attractive features but at the same time, it has many shadows behind that we have to consider. By utilizing the Kenkyukai and ORF, I am going to research about the disadvantage points of Bitcoin and how to overcome those. As for the quantitative research, I made a simple survey to assume how people think about the Bitcoin. At the same time as for the qualitative research, I am going to have a short interview with people who are working in related to Bitcoin.

Diverse Working Culture and Marketing

Person in Charge of the Project : Kana Saito / Ayaka DoiDiversity management is a task for many Japanese companies today. Accepting workers of different race or sexuality, will lead to securing excellent human resources, responding to different needs, creating new ideas, and more advantages. Tokyo, in 2020, will have more people of different race, age, or sexuality than we do have now. Japanese companies will need to accept diversity to be able to cope with these changes, which will also lead to approaching different types of consumers.
