A gait analysis without force platform

Person in Charge of the Project : Hikari TanimotoA force platform is a classical and popular equipment for the gait analysis. However it is difficult to measure our natural walking. Because the subjects have to adjust their step length to place their feet on a force platform. For the measuring of multiple steps, it costs for the multiple force platforms and requires large measurement space. The purpose of this study was to examine a methodology of the gait analysis without force platforms.
