Measurement and Analysis of Brain Information

Person in Charge of the Project : Atsushi Aoyama
A recent advance in non-invasive brain measurement techniques has enabled us to objectively investigate human brain functions. We are conducting basic neuroscience research on measurement and analysis of brain information, aiming at applying the knowledge to the fields of brain information communication, medical welfare, and media. In this project, we show our EEG and MEG studies on five senses and their integration, neural decoding, music, and so on, with posters, and demonstrate EEG measurement.

Visualization of Brain Information

Person in Charge of the Project : Taro Ueno
In this project, we are trying to visualize a human brain by obtaining structural images of the brain using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and printing out these structural images using a 3-D printer. Moreover, we are also trying to visualize not only structural but also functional information. In ORF 2016, we exhibit the printed brain.
