We have faced with several problems caused by multicultural communication and have sought for the solutions for these questions individually or through several activities in SFC. We focus on Japanese language education as one of the solutions and exhibit our studies and some activities regarding it. Main topics are as follows: Japanese language learning at SFC, learning support for the language minority students at the elementary school, the intercultural competence of the foreign residents in Japan.
