東京近郊にある千葉大学や慶應義塾大学では、質感科学の先進的な取り組みが進めています。本セッションでは、文科省学術変革領域研究(A) 「実世界の奥深い質感情報の分析と生成」、略して【深奥質感】研究に取り組む若手研究者が話題を提供します。
コントラスト知覚に代表される視覚知覚メカニズムから、視線検出の認知メカニズム、その理解を援用した多感覚デザイン研究を紹介します。
Humans are capable of sensing and perceiving informationabout the material properties of an object experienced by the five senses in a variety of modalities. We can say that the perception of reality can also be achieved thanks to the ability to perceive material information, as known as SHITSUKAN information.
Chiba University and Keio University SFC, both located in the greater Tokyo area, are making advanced efforts in the SHITSUKAN science. In this session, fresh researchers working on the analysis and synthesis of deep SHITSUKAN information in the real world [supportedby Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A)] , will present their topics (such as the perception of the visual contrast, the cognitive mechanisms of eye gaze detection), and will also show connecting points on data science, machine learning, and image generation AI, to convey the promising research perspectives in SHITSUKAN science.
