Nonaka Lab Symbiosis Project for Muslim conducts research on Japanese society and Islam while learning from a critical perspective on the existing concepts of Intercultural understanding and multicultural coexistance. In this Session, we will focus on young muslims who were born and raised in Japan.  Among young muslims, it becomes popular to share their opinions through the use of video. By collaborating with  filmmakers,  students and researchers from other universities, we will examine the impact of the visual expressions of young muslims on Japanese society.
