Why is sociality required for robots? In our laboratory, we are conducting research and development of robots with a high degree of sociality that are close to people and collaborate by making full use of physical and emotional interactions. In this exhibition, we will introduce some projects such as research on the exterior of robots and dialogue behavior, and robots that improve the quality of remote conversation. Through these technologies, we will show what kind of sociality robots should have in robot to robot (R2R) and robot to human (R2H) interactions.
