Blockchain technology, including its applications, is in the process of development, but unlike the Internet which became the cornerstone of business for 30 years, sufficient research and verification by experts including academic experts have not been done. The SFC Laboratory’s Block Chain Laboratory and the BASE Alliance (established in collaboration with the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo) are conducting this research and verification. In this session, We will outline and discuss the current situation and the future by focusing attention to the emerging cross-chain technology.
