In this session, we will explore the state of English language instruction at Keio SFC, including a historical perspective, current practice, and possible future directions for the language learning program/language learning community as Keio, and Japan, continue to grow and change in our increasingly interconnected and globalized world. The presenters will demonstrate and discuss practical English learning activities, as well as examine various aspects of learning English at SFC. In addition, there will be recorded interviews with current and former SFC students from around the world, to hear their thoughts on the role of English in their lives.
