Smart City Showcase: CrowdSensing - MinaRepo and Lokemon

Person in Charge of the Project : Takuro YonezawaWe introduce our crowdsensing method which leverages human's five senses. Especially, in this booth, we present our activities on Fujisawa City called MinaRepo - a crowdsensing method for city professionals, and Lokemon - a crowdsensing by proxying location-aware virtual monsters.

Smart City Showcase: The SOXFire Platform and City Data Acquisition from WWW

Person in Charge of the Project : Jin NakazawaWe demonstrate a mechanism, called Sensorizer, which enables us to deploy so-called Virtual Sensors on web pages where data originated from the physical world are placed. The virtual sensors and physical sensors together give us data to understand the world, hence enabling smart feedbacks to people there. We also demonstrate an infrastructural system called SOXFire. It serves as the publish/subscribe-based overlay network through which various types of/kinds of data streams are fed to applications and services from the physical world.

Smart City Showcase: Public Car Sensing - Cruisers and OMIMAMORI

Person in Charge of the Project : Yin ChenWe will demonstrate "OMIMAMORI", an approach to watching over the elderly or young children for protection by estimating their locations via Wi-SUN mesh networks. A Wi-SUN beacon integrated "OMIMAMORI" device will attached to those to be protected so that their locations can be estimated by measuring the Wi-SUN radiation signals received at basestations installed to the towers of emergency radio systems. Public vehicles will be also used to improve the estimation accuracy.
