Lab of social capital for child care

Let's spread the circle of child care support to family and citizens -Building up social capital for childcare in community-

Person in Charge of the Project : Masako KanekoIn recent years, childcare still concentrates on mothers. There are little relationship of neighborhood in community, so mothers does not have an adviser about childcare in neighborhood. It is necessary for parents to cooperate and to improve the problem solving ability of child care (empowerment). Our laboratory is developing an empowerment scale of child care for parents. We are paying attention to "place where children play" where bonds are formed by providing a place for citizens to play with parents and children. This place is difficult to continue even if it is launched, we will clarify the continuation factor. From these, we aim for a society in which child abuse is reduced even a little.
