SFCで取り組むカーボンニュートラル
Achieving Carbon Neutrality at SFC Campus
2050年のカーボンニュートラルの達成に向けては、あらゆる主体が各々の戦略を持って進めていく必要がありますが、その中でも、教育研究機関である大学の果たす役割は大きく、既に、世界中の大学がカーボンニュートラルを宣言し、それぞれの取り組みを展開しています。慶応義塾大学湘南藤沢キャンパスにおいても、キャンパス単位でのカーボンニュートラル達成を目指し、対策を実施するための計画づくりを進めてきました。
将来に向けた計画づくりや実行のプロセスでは、キャンパスに関わるステークホルダーの間でビジョンを共有し、議論を重ねることが重要です。本セッションは、SFCで新たに立ち上がった学生自治会である湘南自治会との共催による企画であり、カーボンニュートラルのプロジェクを学生の便益やキャンパスへの愛着を向上させるものとし、ひいては、地域社会、地球環境への関心を向上させるものになるよう、議論を深めていきます。
In order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, all actors need to have their own strategies and universities, as educational and research institutions, play a major role. Universities around the world have already declared themselves carbon neutral and are developing their own initiatives. Keio University's Shonan Fujisawa Campus has also been working on a plan to implement measures to achieve carbon neutrality on a campus-wide basis.
In the process of planning and implementing plans for the future, it is important to share a vision and hold discussions among the stakeholders involved in the campus. This session is organised jointly with the Shonan Student Union, a newly established student union at SFC, and will deepen the discussion to ensure that the carbon neutral project is one that improves student benefits and attachment to the campus, and raise awareness of the local community and the global environment.
