Iba Lab has been creating a number of Pattern Languages as tools to support activities and experiential learning. They are already being used in various settings throughout Japan, and in this session, we will introduce some latest examples of their effective use in education: (1) architectural education at a vocational school, (2) empowerment of young people in Southeast Asia and rural areas in Japan, and (3) staff training at an elderly care facility. Whether you are interested in new methods of education or in pattern language, this will be a time of new discoveries and learning.
