The Keio Hakone Ekiden Project was launched in March 2017 with the aim to participate in the Hakone Ekiden, which Keio has not done since 1994. Through the research of aiming to participate in the Hakone Ekiden, the Running Design Laboratory promotes practical research by collaborating with the Track and Field Club, Keio University Athletics Association. In this Pitch, we introduce our project as the ideal form in university sports, through Keios own unique approach. Also, we will present and demonstrate research results, such as the practice method corroborated by analysis of the relationship between running forms and performances in the Track and Field Club.
