In Japan, current laws obligate employers to take preventive measure for sexual harassment and harassment against pregnant women. Also, in May, the law was revised to obligate employers with same measures against abuse of authority (power harassment). However, since these laws do not prohibit harassment itself and do not have any penalty, Japan stands in a difficult position to ratify the ILO Convention on Violence and Harassment (No.190). Therefore, we, as Chiya-lab, are going to exhibit policy proposal which contains reconsideration about current laws for ratification. And, looking forward to the society which SDGs have been achieved, we also focus on realizing the workplace where human rights of ALL people will not be infringed by others, and everybody respects each other by nature.
