Our ikeda-lab is conducting a "Digital Construction" Project that is about applying an information technology to a building construction. Our aim is developing "Industrial Architecture Technology" leading a 20th century architecture and construction industry to "Information Architecture Technology" based on information technology. For that, we are studying and promoting an information technology in a building construction that will become the core of a developing an architecture technology.
In this ORF, we exhibit a demonstration system in a future construction site, "Symbiotic Construction". It's a system combined 1) IoT Construction Elements and 2) Field Work Support System with AR Technology. Please experience the future of construction.
