< Premium Session > New Phases in Security and Technology (1)

  • 11/18 FRI 16:45 - 18:15
  • Tokyo Midtown Tower 4F Conference

New technologies such as cyber, drones, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and others are expected to have impacts on military affairs. Future wars might be quite different from the past ones. Looking at history we can find many evidences that new technologies, for example, airplanes, submarines, missiles, nuclear bombs and artificial satellite, changed wars. How recent technologies affect military affairs? How will those technologies be used if we see a conflict in East Asia? This session offers initial insights by Future War Research Group at JMSDF Command and Staff College and Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC).

*In this session, a simultaneous interpretation will be provided (English <-> Japanese).
