Computers power almost many aspects of daily life, from your smartphone to nuclear power plants, often known as the Internet of Things. Cybersecurity focuses on securing computers and networks against unauthorized use and data theft. Our research group uses various elements of computer science and information technology to develop new ways to secure the internet. Our goal is to find innovative ways to understand threats to cyber security and protect the internet and its users. Our research group members are able to focus their research on a variety of topics, including malware analysis, web security, and secure software design.
