SFC Open Research Forum 2016

Regarding the brain and the body as one system, we have been researching on neuroscience including how us humans control our movements and acquire skills for music and sports. Besides promoting fundamental understandings of body movements and sensory information processing, we also aim contributing to development of future health, art science and rehabilitation through those researches. The following topics will be introduced this year: 1) individual differences of motor imagery; 2) interpretation of the brain-body system of gymnasts; 3) locomotion of below-knee amputees with prosthetic limb; 4) muscle activities of the World’s Fastest Drummer; 5) individual differences of perception generation of pitch and rhythm.
