The TV and Web Media are rapidly developing towards Olympic 2020: Japan has been internationally leading the technologies and services of 4K/8K and hybrid broadcasting, while Netflix has started its service in Japan this September and Apple Music has increased the awareness of subscription services among the general public in Japan.
W3C is launching the Web Media Profile and Cloud Browser Task Force this autumn, which will develop standards for various use cases of multiple media on multiple devices. In this session, experts from the broadcasting, TV, and Web industry will talk about the future of media towards Olympic 2020 and beyond.
