ABOUT ORF

The Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC), with the notion that dissemination of its achievements to the public is one of its crucial obligations, holds the SFC Open Research Forum (ORF) as the occasion to announce broadly its research outcomes. In this forum, future prospects and results of many ongoing research projects at the Institute are introduced to industries, national and local governments through exhibitions, demonstrations, sessions and workshops.

DETAIL

THEME

KAERU

SFC (Shonan Fujisawa Campus) is built on ideas that “hatch.” To challenge issues that emerge in society, new ideas and new knowledge are constantly hatching at SFC. By circulating new knowledge to society and changing society through the power of knowledge, new issues again emerge, which in turn stirs new ideas and new knowledge to hatch. Keeping up with this continuous cycle of creative power, SFC continues to reinvent itself. To demonstrate coevolution of society and campus for higher levels of “hatching,” SFC Open Research Forum (ORF) 2016 will be held this year again at Tokyo Midtown. Our entire campus unites for ORF2016 and we proudly present a spectrum of remarkable research achievements, workshops where visitors can experience the research firsthand, and talk sessions from various perspectives. We look forward in welcoming you to our showcase.
