Keio Nursing of 100th Anniversary Commemorative Project

Nursing education in Keio University will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2018. Commemorating this event, our “nursing history in Keio” is shown chronologically from the establishment of nurse training school attached to Keio University Medical School in 1918 to the present. Also, white coats for nurses have been changing with the times, so we have compiled it as the “history of nurse clothing.” In this booth, “nursing history in Keio” and “history of nurse clothing” are presented in the panels to show the essence of Keio nursing that transcends time and our next 100 years that Keio nursing aims by leading ahead of the times and keeping on evolving.
