Yorizumi Watanabe - lab aims to study 'Law and Politics in International Trade' by learning both theory of trade policy and its practice. In order to do so, we learn multinational negotiations and reality of dispute settlement in WTO. In addition, we study on the trends of major economic integrations. At this year's ORF we will focus on the TPP which after 7 years of negotiations is in the process of ratification. Along with delving into the specifics of the TPP we will also touch upon the impact the U.K's vote to leave the European Union (BREXIT) will have on trade. The subjects still have many unknown variables which we will try to make clear through our research and exhibition.
