Presentation Group : Kokuryo Laboratory
Presentation Representative : Jiro Kokuryo
Once a natural disaster happens, local governments have to change their focus into disaster relief operations.
These operations are quite distinct from its normal tasks. This session is aim to discuss how to use ICT (Information Communication and Technology) to support disaster relief operations in the field. We plan to build a prototype application using smartphones and test it in Tome City which was damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. The result of this field test will be shown.
