Green Society ICT Life Infrastructure

People are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of adaptation to climate change. Although mitigation is important, it is wide spread that mitigation is not enough to adequately deal with forthcoming climate change. Our laboratory develops a web-based software, so that non-experts would be able to examine mesh data to analyze local community’s vulnerability to the ill effects of climate change. In addition, we developed “Green Society ICT Life Infrastructure” utilizing sensor networks, household energy consumption data, and practical methods to optimize a “comfortable life environment,” while simultaneously devising appropriate policies regarding ill effects on such things as health, medical treatment and agriculture and also on the community vulnerability to climate changes.
