< Cisco Systems G.K. Sponsor Session > New Workstyles Brought Forth by Communication Technology

The workstyles of the Japanese are rapidly changing. The office style centered on the PC is coming to an end, and the hedges that divided work and private life are disappearing. Social media not only allow us to share cultures, values, and experiences, but it is also connected beyond the lines of organizations and countries. The four ICT of mobile, social, visual, and virtual are bringing transformation to workstyles, where collaboration is possible anytime, anywhere, and with anybody. These new communication technologies are bringing about new workstyles such as how people work, learn, and educate.

As further innovative communication technologies become established in the future, how will work and education change shape? Cisco Systems, a leader in new communications technologies, takes the podium to give us their forecasts for innovations in workstyle.
