Although we encounter and look at many people every day, we do not pay close attention to them. The “Hito-log” (literally meaning “logging people”) Project is a trial to have a close look at them from the following viewpoints. People are in a certain place from a particular reason. They wear a certain outfit because they intentionally have selected it out before they left home earlier that day. The way they communicate with each other has to do with their situations and backgrounds. In our everyday lives, we select a person who draws our attention, and draw sketches of their attitude, posture and outfit, so that we may be able to have a guess of their reasons, backgrounds, situations and even characters.
